The White House girls bowling team claimed the Region 6 Bowling championship Tuesday night after defeating Wilson Central in the semi-finals and Lebanon in the championship match.
Next up for the Lady Devils is a sectional match on Saturday against the runner-up in Region 5, a team to be determined. The winner of that match will qualify for the state tournament in Smyrna Jan. 19-21.
In the two regional matches, the Devils won both by the score of 22-5.
Against Wilson Central, Paige Bolding had the high game of 246. Abby Smith had a 212 and Destiny Law bowled a 204.
In the finals match against Lebanon, Bolding, Smith, Law, Madeline Cain and Meredith Rayburn all had one game over 200 pins and Kelly Onkst bowled a 192.
The White House boys team will bowl in their regional match Thursday in Cookeville
